But, technology is moving on and consumers will have a lot more choices for their telecom/tv needs this year and next. VM needs to deliver on promises and continue to enhance its services.
Yep. There are more apps on my Samsung TV just to deliver VOD, then the total number on apps on TiVo. Plus, the BBC iPlayer app on my Samsung TV actually delivers better quality pictures than the equivalent app on TiVo, for £3 per month less.

Every one of VM's established competitors seems to be moving ahead (or catching up fast) compared to VM in some or all areas. At this stage, TiVo should be a more powerful weapon for VM than it currently is.

I'm surprised to hear that as we have not agreed terms for the channels. Virgin Media has actively engaged with Premier Sport over the past 12 months and advised them that we're able to make the channel available to our customers on a premium basis. This is the same way in which customers currently access the channel via Direct To Home services. Unfortunately Premier Sport has chosen to decline our proposal so we are unable to launch. If you have any feedback on this matter, I suggest you contact Premier Sport directly.

Long time reader of this thread & have to say this is really disappointing if true. With the Nascar Nationwide (2nd tier) series on Motors Tv (great news!) it just seems amazing that we won't get the top tier series for a third year running (Open Access was via sat only two years ago, then Premier Sports sat only last year & now it looks this year too). Add to that the lack of ESPN America HD, Sky Sports HD3 & HD4, F1HD & SSNHD (The latter four I blame entirely on the OFT's inability to spot & break Sky's vertical integration monopoly on) and I feel the need for one of the unhappy smilies!

agree matey,I am a big fan of vm and have been impressed in recent years of the improvements they have made. There just guilty of getting to complacement and need a push to improve more, some just come here to moan about everything and of course not everyone is going to be happy with end result but i think they have in past few months took there eye off the ball were the tv is concerned and concentrated on the broadband side. Now they need to get back on the ball and support tivo with apps and more hd channels,ARE YOU LISTENING VM

Would be good but a shame it's 2 weeks too late for the Daytona 500, the opening, but main event of the Nascar season. Is 9th March an important date for rugby league?
