Hopefully charging for HD will end eventually on all platforms be it by HD charge or Activation charges.

can you see sky losing all that money from the HD charge i cant they never let it happen sadly it them that started all the HD charges

To be fair though Dave HD has massive setup costs , new studios , camera equipment , bandwidth etc.

well vm managed HD free except sky premium HD of course sky charge not VM's dont they have same costs with bandwidth ect and remember VM got massive debt sky aint

Yes HD does cost more than SD, But what I meant about Dave why would they need all of that new stuff when all the show are from the BBC? So why would they need new studios etc.

Dave you seem to have missed the point that VM just resell channels now , meaning they dont need to spend on all the equipment and studios that Sky do http://www.dtg.org.uk/news/news.php?id=4105 this doesn't come cheap.

i know MM vm just reselling channels thats why i only mentioned bandwidth not studio and equipment my point was sky got no debt VM got massive debt and managed free HD
