Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Interesting to see a price cut for a change. Is this a first for Sky?

Nope!
Single Sports was £14.50 a few years ago. It's been £13 ever since..... so far.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Strengthening the On Demand service further to include more kids content makes perfect sense especially now that Netflix and Amazon are increasing their original kids output.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Just rejoined Sky TV after months of over utilisation from VM, have to admit the on demand is far superior and makes losing the 3rd tuner easier.
BB isn't too bad so far, 76down and 19up on their Fibre Pro package, nice having a static IP too.

The only issue I have with Sky's on demand is that you can't download an entire season of ,say , The Blacklist ,in one go you have to download each episode separately ,a bit of a pain but otherwise I agree the on demand is excellent

Thats the first thing that I found strange I must admit, maybe they're trying to stop people saturating the network by hitting download all and not watching the entire boxset? I agree though, should have the option

Do you not just queue them up? So if you did it say overnight in the morning 10 episodes or whatever would be stored locally?

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Digital Spy is reporting that Tru TV +1 has now launch on Sky Channel 271.
Is Tru TV +1 broadcasting right now as they only broadcast on Freeview for three hours per day.

Trust me when I say this has been requested many times , I'm pretty sure you'll see this kind of functionality implemented at some stage , its certainly been researched by Sky.

Yep, that's all that can be done ,however 22 episodes is a bit of a faf ,not to mention the 22 onscreen popups telling me a download is available to view

The last update a couple of weeks ago included a 'delete all' option for box sets so I guess a 'download all' option can't be far away.

You can just annoying if your downloading a box set of four seasons containing 10+ episodes each, just a big oversight in my opinion.
