Are you thinking of adding fish food therapy to your practice?

It was a betnovate cream that had to be applied daily by the nurse .The cream was started at 1% and worked up to 5% left on the skin for 15 mins and no longer , then showered off ,and supplemented by intense uv light via a walk in light cubicle for a further 5 mins ,this took about 8 weeks to complete

Re: Psoriasis & Psoriatic arthritis
Covered with it. I was very bad about a year ago and got light treatment 3 times a week. It worked great. But I'm unluckily in that it comes back when I'm stressed.

I've not been offered any treatment.......and it does get worse when I'm stressed.
Good incentive to stay chilled

Re: Psoriasis & Psoriatic arthritis
I diagnosed myself as having Psoriatic Arthritis and Psoriasis about three years ago. The rheumatologist prescribed steroids and that was that.
Knowing what steroids do to the body with long term use, I decided to find an alternative.
I'd already noticed that my arthritic symptoms improved in minutes after I ingested ginger so I researched natural anti-inflammatories. That lead me to turmeric as well as ginger.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19110321
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18484280
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15659827
etc, etc....
I bought a masticating juicer and ice cube bags
and set about juicing turmeric root and ginger root.......messy.
Every day I dissolve 4 cubes of turmeric and 3 cubes of ginger in some water and drink it. Tastes horrible but it does the job.
I have been largely symptom free ever since. My skin is almost clear and my arthritis is kept at bay.
Not had a single steroid, still have the prescription.
Works for me and there is quite a lot of research to back this approach up......
