sim only

My contract is up with virgin mobil in march, i had to call them last night about a problem i had and was told if i want to keep the phone i have , because im a valued customer i can have a sim only which is on webb at £15 per month for £12 pounds per month. and this can be done now but if i want to change handsets i have to wait untill march. I wanted to think about it and today i phoned to do the sim deal. I have now been told no they cannot reduce the price to £12 and i have to wait untill march if i only want sim. But i can change handsets now if i want. How can you be told differant things from the same company . I should have took the offer up straight away when i was told i could last night.

Re: sim only

When I wanted to switch from O2 to Virgin and keep my number, O2 tried keeping me on their network with a very attractive offer. Top up £10 a month, and get unlimited texts, 500 MB mobile internet data, and 2000 minutes. I had to sign up there and then though, I was told it was an offer that had to be taken right now.

As I already had my Virgin mobile and SIM, I declined and asked for the MAC code to keep my number.

Re: sim only

The second person told you the truth as sim deals are 30 day contracts. If they allowed you to go sim only you could do that then request your pac code

Re: sim only

I thought at the end of your contract the phone is yours to do with as you please.
