Arrow Moving home advice needed

Hi, I am due to move house via mutual exchange in about 2 weeks (not received a firm date yet). The place I'm moving to has no Virgin media access so I'm going to cancel. I'm currently out of contract so no probs there. What I'm worried about is I think I'm correct in saying that Virgin need 1 months notice to cancel services. If this is so can I ask them to terminate all service on the day before I move as I don't want the incoming tenant to be able to make telephone calls which I could be liable for?
Advice greatly appreciated,
Thanks
