Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
Do you have a link for that? I'd want to check before I update to what my S3 is offering me.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
You can check the facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileUK?filter=2
The 4.3 pretty much killed my S3, but after this update it does feel like I've got my phone back at last.
Obviously I don't know if it's fixed all the problems such as battery drain, only time will tell.
Some of the updates are listed here... http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/samsung...00-05-12-2013/
The only thing that's annoyed me is the new S-Voice speech accent /robot/indian/fed up voice. It's horrible compared to the 4.1.2

yeah I'd say so. Some people have complained about battery probs, but I've not had any. I'm on 35% after 2days 4hrs, and used it quite a lot this morning.
After installing, reboot (turn off then on) holding vol down and the other 2 buttons down then clear cache might help after an install.
Touch wood, it's all good for me.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
Tired of waiting around for 4.3.1 on my s3 so just put the CM 10.2 4.3.1 rom on it. Glad I did now. Considering rooting my s4 for the custom 4.4 roms.

Android update
Does anyone know when Samsung will release the official 4.2.2 update? I know they pulled it because it was wrecking people's phones but I can't seem to find a date for a fixed version.

Re: Android update
Not sure yet although my S3 looks like it has put me in a queue to download it.
This is the thread where everyone is discussing it.

For what phone? The S3?
They will never release a 4.2.2 update.
They never pulled any 4.2.2 update
4.2.2 never existed publicly for the S3 and never will. It was skipped over and they went directly to 4.3

No it hasn't, because it does not exist.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
My unlocked S3 is currently downloading a 416.95MB update, very very slowly!
---------- Post added at 15:05 ---------- Previous post was at 14:17 ----------
It has finally updated to 4.3 not 4.3.1.

I've also made the same decision. The lack of info and the way it was handled was beyond words.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
I seem to have lost the ability to swipe to unlock as well as any water effect.
---------- Post added at 15:58 ---------- Previous post was at 15:52 ----------
Well i found the option but you can't have a pin as well as a swipe unlock, it is now 1 or the other.
