New Contract issue
i agreed to a new contract with virgin about 10 days ago and all was ok.
The problem i have is that i received it this morning but since agreeing i have had a stroke that's affected my speech and right arm and i am unable to sign the contract.
What can i do?

Re: New Contract issue
I may be wrong but i don't believe you actually have to sign it. You enter the contract as soon as you agree to it verbally on the phone.

Re: New Contract issue
Sorry to hear you've suffered a stroke, hope you make a fast recovery.
I think that kabaal is right, and the contact you have received is just a copy for your own records.

Re: New Contract issue
Under the distance selling act you have 14 days to reject the new contract if you continue with new services after the 14 days you are deemed to have accepted the new conditions whether you return the new contract or not.
Hope this helps

Seven days.

(And only applies if it was sold at a distance, of course)

Re: New Contract issue
They sent me a paper contract once after renegotiating, never signed or returned it - made no difference. Think its just to keep you happy.
Take care and get better soon.
