Wellthats great news for TiVo users, they were told about it in February 2012 and it will land before February 2013.
Will it be released before July 2012 ends?

Yeah seems like a reasonable length of time for testing then running a beta then full release. I would say September is a good call. Although anything sooner will be great for TiVo users.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Sorry got to ask what causes a random TiVo reboot? It has only happened to me 3 times that I know of since Xmas, but it happened this morning in the middle of the Pacquaio Vs. Bradley live PPV fight, very frustrating as everybody knows a reboot cycle takes 5 mins to complete

No-one knows for certain. If they did they'd be able to stop it

Virgin will have a log of your PPV purchase and should have a record of the reboot. I'd give them a call and complain that your viewing pleasure was ruined. You paid £14.99 and stayed up until 6am to watch a live event in it's entirety. You didn't get what you paid for through no fault of your own. It wouldn't be unreasonable to expect either a partial or full refund.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Is the fast forward facility on the TiVo box designed with advertisers in mind? Whenever I fast forward through adverts on a recording and push play to commence my viewing my TiVo box never plays from the point I've selected. It always jumps back around 10 seconds and catches the tail end of the last advertisement featured in the commercial break. Is this deliberate from Virgin / TiVo? It's something I'd like them to fix ASAP as it's one of the most annoying things about TiVo.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Its one of my fav things about TiVo. Its not a fault its a feature. Also nothing to. Do with adverts. Its so when rewinding or fast forwarding you don't miss any of what you are watching. I've mastered getting it to start in the right place. Best thing is to press okay when the show you are watching has started then it will jump to the start rather than the last advert.

If it's a feature then I'd like to have the option to turn it off. I'm not really a big fan of having to master something as basic as fast forward to have it working as I expect. I waste so much time trying to get programmes to play from the correct point it's unbelievable. Not a problem I ever had with my V+ box. Each to their own however for me personally it's not adding anything to my viewing experience
