Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Just rx'd an email that confirmed I had won a £100 Amazon voucher - result.
That's MW3 and Battlefield 3 (PC versions), Snuff by Terry Pratchett, Manhattan in Reverse by Peter F Hamilton, and Reamde by Neal Stephenson ordered and paid for.

l have just seen mum in hospital and even though she is in the HDU she has certainly improved from 2 days ago and dad is much happier as he has been in tears quite a lot in the last couple of days and as l told him there is always hope.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Similar bodykit to my old MG Metro Turbo, top speed was only around 90mph with its 4 speed gearbox but getting there was a different story, never found anything which could pass me, I even managed to beat some motorbikes

I saw a Metro the other week. weird looking things they are. they look a lot smaller than they used to be.

After a very long day, having a large Carlsberg Special - but not as we know it; it's like a North German Alt Beer (darker and hoppier than a normal lager).
