Wasn't his biggest fan after the Hatton fight but I just have to face the fact this guy is the P4P best boxer on the planet and a boxing genius. He's up there beside Ali.

There's so many things about Mayweather's boxing that take a really fine eye to appreciate but show he truly is a master.
Many times during that fight the crowd was going mental for Cotto because he was throwing a load of punches and had Mayweather on the ropes, but that was exactly where Mayweather wanted to be, and the punches just weren't landing. Which was pretty much the same as the Ortiz fight, where people were convinced Ortiz was winning and Mayweather took the easy way out because he was getting hurt when in reality Ortiz was swinging a lot and missing with everything. Floyd is just ridiculously hard to hit.
It was interesting watching Mayweather fight in 10oz gloves, the extra size of them made for a completely different fight. Mayweather is all about precision and finding the gap in a guys guard, 10oz gives a far bigger guard compared to 8oz, so rather than being able to hit through he was throwing a weird sort of overhand right where it was starting out quite straight but then looping in at the end around Cotto's guard.
It's just crazy how much of an eye he has for everything, his reactions are just unbelievable. I hope Arum stops being a dick and lets the Manny fight happen, because Manny just isn't going to stand a chance, Floyd will wipe the floor with him and it'll finally shut up the "Floyd is ducking Manny" idiots.

David Haye will fight Derek Chisora on the 14th July at Upton Park
Don't expect to Chisora to last too long in the ring with Haye, Stupid Fight for Derek to take considering he's on back to back defeats.
Probably be the end of Chisora's career and well Haye was already done. Payday for Haye and a disastrous end for Chisora.

17,000 tickets sold in a day.
Haye will knock this guy out cold. Vitali later this year. Nothing to lose for Haye so I can see him running over these two. He got his tactics wrong against Wlad, To beat Wlad he needs to bin tactics and just go out like David Haye, swinging wildly and Wlad will sharp be in trouble.

Khan-Peterson Las Vegas rematch called off after failed drugs test.

Amir Khan's rematch with Lamont Peterson has been called off after the American champion's failed drugs test.
Both fighters agreed to random testing before their 19 May light-welterweight bout in Las Vegas, and Peterson tested positive for synthetic testosterone.
Peterson subsequently gave a negative test and his camp were appealing to the Nevada Athletics Commission.
"The fight is off! Sorry everyone the only person to blame is @kingpete26," tweeted Khan on Wednesday.
"I'll be looking for a opponent to fight June 30th."

20,000 tickets sold now.
To quote Frank Warren, The 2 best heavyweights in Britain...
For starters without Bias, Haye is a former world champion at both heavyweight and cruiser weight with a phenomenal knock-out ratio and probably the 3rd current best heavyweight in the world behind the brothers of boredom.
Derek Chisora has lost 3 of his last 4, he is one dimensional and the only major fight he's had was a loss to Vitali which was an unbelievably dismal fight, He also lost the British Title to another boxer with minimal TV exposure (Tyson Fury)
With bias..
Sorry Warren but this fight will end up with your guy laying on the mat for the most. I thought it couldn't get any funnier than Fraudley Harrison.

Re: Boxing 2012
ref done well there not stopping the fight round 3.
---------- Post added at 00:41 ---------- Previous post was at 00:32 ----------
Froch wins, well deserved. Top draw shots at Bute.
Bit of confusion though, ref signalled over then counts then Butes side call it off. Anyway again well deserved Froch

Re: Boxing 2012
Awesome fight.
So glad people ruled Froch as the underdog on paper despite is record being way stronger than Bute's one of hand fights, made a killing on it.

Re: Boxing 2012
A great performance by Froch and he will go down as one of the true British greats after this.

Re: Boxing 2012
Bute's only well known opponent before last night was Glen Johnson, I wouldn't judge his ability based on what was an undefeated record.
Brings back Memories of Khan vs Salita in which Salita was floored by the very first punch of the night.

Yeah, this is why I was backing Froch heavily. Froch's two defeats have came because he'll fight anyone.
Bute's record was because he had hand picked opponents he could beat, and even then he needed the referees help to stay undefeated when Andrade knocked him out in the dying seconds of the 12th, only for the referee to give the most ******** 10 count boxing has ever seen.
Anyone looking at this fight logically could see Froch should have been favourite. Bute is overhyped and relies on hometown advantage.

Re: Boxing 2012
Quality shots from Froch. What suprised me was that the ref was actually counting out Bute after that awesome 3 punch combo that ended the fight. MAybe he had a bet on for a knockout in the later stages.

The tragic life of five-times boxing world champion Johnny Tapia has come to an end as he was found dead at home in Albuquerque. He was 45.
