I'd certainly agree with what Matt has said. The only noise I usually hear from my PS3 is disc reading which is hardly ever. It's mainly on loading screens.
If Matt's comments can't convince you I dont think anything will lol. Great post's Matt you've covered all the major points from a non bias standpoint imo. I do always enjoy reading your in-depth post's
