is freeview going to be full of shopping & chat up channels?
from what i can see it,s all thats whats comming on as of late

Freeview has only limited room for new channels, so there's not likely to be too many new ones still to come. But I'd guess there's a fair chance that anything that does launch will be rubbish. Quality TV is extremely expensive and difficult to produce unless you have a guaranteed income (such as the licence fee, in the case of the BBC, or subscriptions, in the case of Sky), or have the privilege of a 'public service' designation like ITV, C4 and C5.
