V HD just a couple of quick questions

hi there,

can any customer who has had a recent installation, or VM staff member/installer confrm a couple of points for me please ?

1) is this the latest V HD Box and current remote control - http://www.genuinecopies.tv/images/virgin-hd.jpg

2) In on the demnd menu is the option 'view now / view from / cancel' & is the ability to skip fwd 10 mins by pressing #3 no longer available ?

1. Can't speak for the box, but that is the remote I'm using. Have been since 2010.
2. I have the option for skipping forward using 3.

1, thx, it is the remote im actually more interested in, so it looks like thats been their remote thats been around for a while, i just used that stock photo as an example as it had both items in one screenshot, the box matches what they are showing on their website here, but it didnt display the type of remote

2 - no view from ?

A V-HD would usually have either type 11 or 12.

however ive just realised you said youve been using it since 2010

i really need someone with a more recent install to reply, because speaking to vm customer support, they have said that if i get the v-hd box i wont have either of these options anymore and its possible i only have them on my older v box and v+ box because the software onboard or the smartcard hasnt been updated, but they reckoned they had a recent machine and these are no longer options :/

You will get them. All V-HD boxes run the same software. Perhaps they were confusing it with TiVo.
