Re: [PS3] LittleBigPlanet
It would make sense. The beta is definitely well above the usual quality of demos.

Re: [PS3] LittleBigPlanet
I hope they do release a demo / open beta
Entered the latest Gamepro giveaway today, waiting on 1up & Gametrailers.
Pre-order goodies:
The US is getting quite a bit to choose from apparently.
We, so far, have got sod all.
Only noticed two things:
1) Nariko costume, available if you pre-order from Play.com
2) Kratos costume, available in the latest OPM (if the card with the code hasn't "gone missing"...).

Or FREE 3 Inch Sackboy Figurine if you pre-order from shopto. Limited stock I think though.

Re: [PS3] LittleBigPlanet
Ah, hadn't seen that one
Pity it's hard plastic though, rather than plush.
I've pre-ordered from Play.com for the Nariko costume, & bought OPM today for the Kratos costume.
The beta farce has continued as usual today...
Latest site to have a meltdown was Gametrailers.com
Their front page said "Sign up now and get your code in Thursday's newsletter".
So, of course, masses of people signed up to GT in the hope of getting a beta code in the newsletter today.
Only to find that the statement above is a bit of an... untruth..., as you do *not* get a code in the newsletter - what you get (if they actually send you the newsletter...) is a link to a userprofile for "SackboyBetaMan", who you have to send a message to asking for a code (& I assume it's also first come, first served - they're hardly likely to have enough codes for everyone).
And, of course, as with Gamepro & Eurogamer, the demand caused GT to suffer what I suppose is a kind of natural DoS attack.
Yet another site that has failed to anticipate the demand & the strain - which is even more silly as surely they'd realise what it would be like given the Eurogamer fiasco of last week.
Plus, they said one thing & did another - front page says you get a code in the newsletter, yet nope...

More LBP keys here.
It's the US Blog, but doesn't say you need to be a US resident...

Re: [PS3] LittleBigPlanet
OMG... this game is awesome
Did the intro levels last night, & played online on a few of the user-created levels.
Brilliant stuff.
Can't wait for the full game.
Even if you're not a creative person (like me, sadly), there'll still be loads to do. A full story mode, online "co-opetition" multiplayer, plus all the user-created levels.

Re: [PS3] LittleBigPlanet
have to say after having played it for a few hours between story and online i think its incredibly childish , a bit more fun if you get a few online people in the level but just not my cup of tea , sure others will love it though ,definately don't see it as a must buy for the ps3 and still that killer app is to come imo , roll on killzone 2 'don't believe the hype'
