Rules on writing on a Gravestone
Hi Guys.
A friend of mine told me today he was terminally ill and only has a short time to live and having a sence of humour he wants to have his "Last Words" on the grave stone.
What im wondering is are there rules to what can go on and what not as the phrase he wises has some swearing in it.

Depends on your local diocese.

If it's a C of E graveyard, it's unlikely to allow a gravestone with swearing on it (I would be amazed if any graveyard did, but willing to be corrected).

It depends on where you are buried, some don't even allow teddy bears on children's gravestones.
