Just tried these and they see the video put cant play it. MX Player says cant be played and VPlayer plays it but its just blank, no picture and no sound. Im guessing its because they are DRM protected. Its annoying me now. Ive paid for the film but i can only play them on iOS devices, grrr

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
Correct, it's the drm that stops them working.

I have only tried that 1 film which on Windows or Mac has to be done from iTunes. I have another film that may work on S3 as it can go via WMP or from the film site its self but dont want to use the code in case it doesnt work

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
If they are digital copies the drm will mean they will only work on iTunes or wmp.

Been playing all weekend, game is still as good as I remember and the detail and smoothness on the GS3 is phenomenal.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
Phone going off or music player going off? Can't say I've experienced either on my S3 (though I did see the former once or twice on my S2)
I wonder if it's incorrectly detecting you've unplugged your headphones? Most android media players automatically pause music when you unplug your headphones, to avoid it blurting out loudly and embarrassingly over the phone speaker (this has happened to me several times in the past on Nokia handsets in the library, it's not fun). You can turn that function off in many media players, though if there's a fault with your headphone socket I'd get that looked at first.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
Have you possibly plaed the phone face down or covered the screen? Its got a feature that pauses when that is done.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
As I say, I'd try turning off the "pause when you disconnect your headphones" feature - I'm not sure if the stock media player has it but PowerAmp definitely does. Alternative being just wiggle your headset a lot to see if it causes it.
Oh and if you use the supplied headset, it has 3 buttons and one of them acts as a play/pause button.
Course it could be nothing to do with the headphones and just the phone running out of RAM, and closing the media player. Memory management on Android 4 is still a bit flakey on some devices.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
Must say I've not had any issues with the music player pausing or stopping of its own accord.

Ram usage was high even with bo apps runnning and i even went into task manager ended all active apps and processes and still it was over 600mb restated and gone back down to 400 something mb and ok at. Maybe it is a ram issue bit why is my ram so high with nothing running and no live wallpaper?

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3
Android by default keeps all applications running (cached) in the background to make them load faster. It usually kills these before killing any actual live applications, but sometimes gets it wrong (especially on HTCs with their custom/aggressive app killing code). It's unlikely to be a RAM issue but a remote possibility is still a possibility.
Have you tried Poweramp with the autopause function disabled? And are you using the included headset?
