Hmm.

Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, of course - though it took me years to discover the title; every time I heard it on the radio (the only way I could hear it, as I was a kid at the time and couldn't afford LPs and the like) I missed either the start or the end. It was only when someone put it on a jukebox and I noted which song was playing that I finally knew the title.

Bat Out Of Hell, again of course.

T'Pau's Heart And Soul - it didn't hurt that Carol Decker's a redhead.

Belinda Carlisle's Heaven Is A Place On Earth, though some later ones were better - ditto the redhead thing. Mind you, that gorgeous cleavage wasn't exactly an insignificant factor...

Texas, I Don't Want A Lover - I detested the remake. Why the hell did Sharleen butcher her own track like that?!

Who Will You Run To and Alone, Heart - could Ann Wilson hold a note or what?

Roxette, Joyride - ditto Marie Fredricksson.

Madonna, Crazy For You and Live To Tell - I think she does ballads better than pop tracks, e.g. Frozen, and You'll See.

Since You Been Gone, Rainbow

One, the immortal Metallica - I first heard it the very first time I went into Sparrows, a former biker/rocker bar in Bolton. My mates who'd introduced me to the place later said they'd never seen a mosh like it from someone who didn't have the hair for it (or, indeed, much hair at all, despite my being a mere 25 at the time!).

Ironic, Alanis Morrisette

Here are a few more of mine:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgMsACFMIq8&ob=av2n - Killswitch Engage - Rose Of Sharyn (First saw this transcribed in a guitar mag and tried to play it. fell in love with the tune)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exC4QoQKOVY&ob=av2e - Trivium - A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation (Heard it and that was it due to growing up)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yngxExGNIHg - Slipknot- Wait and Bleed Live (no explanation needed)
