I never did the test. Was SSB (the 'bad lads') from the late 70's and enjoyed that maverick side of it.
Fair play to you though. I'm still mad on comms.
There have been a couple of biggies where you might have some luck on FM, there was a monster opening during the last 6m activity contest. It wasn't fun putting the log in!
50MHz trophy contest and the 6M backpackers (3 watts) at the weekend so I'm debating which one to do. I fancy a yomp up the tops with the FT690 tbh.
