But.....why?
Why not just include the ordering process in Thursday's email?
Not having a go, DF, but this just looks.....odd.

I personally think it will be days after the 1st email rather than weeks.

Re: TiVo
wow...... I'm speechless, why let us register our interest so early!
When I registered my interest in TiVo, the general opinion was that it would be launching by the end of 2010 as VM originally stated!

The main reason would be to gauge interest and order enough TiVo's. The pre-regs will be getting a decent deal from what I'm hearing too.
I know it seems like it's been forever waiting for TiVo, and i'm sure I'd be the same!, but it really is almost here for the pre-regs now.

Re: TiVo
DF and all the other staff members that help us on here can not say about sensitive info and they are just able to say certain things. They may be risking their jobs and I have to say for the little nuggets of info that we get from them I am grateful.
SO AS DF SAYS DO NOT SHOOT THE MESSENGER AS THEY MAY HAVE TO DO THIS?

Fair enough, I suppose looking at it from VMs point of view it has been a useful way to estimate demand.
Sorry for the rant DF, nothing personal & I really appreciate your input on the forum.
Do you know if the initial email will contain a price or is that to follow in the 2nd email?

Right, who is not going to sleep for the next 3 days so they can check their email every 5 minutes until the VM email arrives!!!!! Definitely candidates for the M.I.G.F.T.T.D club (see earlier!).

Seems like ther's no rush to read the first one, so you can sleep; it's after you've recieved the first one that you need 24 hour email monitoring!

I would also be interested in this. I too noticed tonights Spartacus not flagged as new as well as Thursdays V on SyFy.
Add to this that I was watching Comedy Central HD yesterday at 7pm, EPG stated Two and a Half Men about to start and what happened? Scrubs happened
Only had TiVo for a couple of days and its a great STB but they really need to sort out this EPG or at least let us know how to report issues like the above.
I would also like to say that the PQ is definately worse than my old SA V+. SD is noticably worse and HD is also not as good if I'm honest. I am still tinkering with both the TV and the box settings so hopefully things improve.

My Sky+HD box had F1 Australian Grand Prix flagged as not being in HD on Sunday so nothings perfect however the wrong program is a bit worrying.

I wonder if this is why the default setting for series link recordings has changed to 'New & Reruns' (according to the change logs for recent software updates).
