Me too, although with 7 yellows and two reds cards methinks they overdid it a bit.
It did expose QPR's very lightweight, powderpuff attack though.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Even though l am not a QPR fan, but l watched that game, and it showed me that there are good guys and bad.
The way QPR performed was superb against a bunch of bullies like Chelsea, the red card were well deserved, and Terry was the same whinging idiot like the rest of the team - Well played Rangers.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
I don't know if it permeates down from the manager but the QPR players spent more time arguing, pushing and posturing towards each other than they did with Chelski.

l think most players will do exactly what their manager does and if their manager shows this type of behavior the players will quickly follow that example.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
There must be a lot of Chelsea fans on this forum, but let me say this.
Chelsea are by the far the worst team for whinging and giving players a whack when the ref isn't looking, Chelsea have been known for years to be hard, you only have to go back to Chopper Harris in the heyday of Chelsea.
John Terry is always complaining and going in hard towards players, and some of his tackles are straight reds, but like Rooney he gets away with it.
He should have walked himself for some of his tackle, along with that player with the flashy hair, behind the legs, elbow jobs.
When they are losing they are terrible, l thought QPR played very well and dserved the win.
Its a great shame the FA don't show the same disipline to PL stars then they do to lower league clubs.
