Re: Football Season 2011/12
The Manchester Derby next week is going to be epic. Shame, for neutrals, that the teams aren't equal on points but City have avoided the embrassement of having United win the league at their home ground.
That said it's obviously United's title if they win.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
It would be pretty annoying to see them both on level points at the end of the season only for one of them to take it on goal difference.
Should at least be played as a playoff final type of game in the case of level points.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
How do you rate you chances of top four Adzii? You worried about finishing 4th and having Chelsea win the CL?

Re: Football Season 2011/12
After supporting Chelsea for the first leg not really thinking we could be sitting 3 points clear in 4th by the weekend I now have a totally different response and lets put it this way, Barca better do something in the second leg!
It's all going to come down to the City-Newcastle game I think and I'm hoping United win next week and City feel there's nothing to play for.

Yeah. That sounds about right. The tension won't be welcome if Chelsea are in the final. I imagine if Newcastle finished 4th and suddenly had their place taken away then it would annoy a lot of people.
I am concerned about Arsenal, we don't do well at Stoke so could well be fighting for that 4th spot as well.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie named PFA Player of the Year.

Robin van Persie has been named as the Professional Footballers' Association's Player of the Year.
The 28-year-old striker has scored 38 times this season, including 34 goals in all competitions for Arsenal.
The Dutch international, who is the Premier League's top goalscorer, said: "If other people are saying it, it is special, but it is even more special if your opponents are saying it.
"If they make up their minds that I'm the best player it is a big honour."
Van Persie, who has been inspirational for Arsene Wenger's side this season, was also quick to acknowledge the importance of his team-mates.
"Without them I could not have achieved it - for example Theo Walcott, he has given me more than 12 assists and I do really appreciate that," he said.

A well deserved award for a outstanding player.
