I understand it's coming to Apple TV shortly. Let's hope it comes to VM as well - sooner rather than later!

What do you think the chances are of Comcast on line coming to our TIVO boxes in the near future if it launches in the UK?

No chance tbh mate same with slingtv and verizon as they are US services, hbogo i think will come but maybe not for quite awhile.
I wouldn't be surprised to see virgin and bt etc try to get deals in place to launch a online tv service too.

I'm trying the slingtv service at mo it costs $20p/m about £14 so far it's quite good, i agree with you on the password sharing part for how little things such as netflix cost it really is penny pinching.

I suspect that some of this is to get around geographically restricted content.

Vodafone targets November launch for internet pay-TV service
Quote:
The service will be based on software provided by a New York company called Kaltura. Programmes will be stored centrally online, so can be viewed on multiple televisions and mobile devices. Each member of a household can create a personal profile of their favourite channels and shows. The system can also be integrated with Facebook accounts for recommendations from friends.

No; a smart dns service would fix that problem.
