Even better! Can't wait as this is one of my most watched channels and to finally have it in 16x9
South Park should look awesome the episode that appeared on Xbox Live, even though it was cropped looked amazing, especially with the anmie sections.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. III
As I recall part of the new carriage deal between Virgin and Sky was that there would be some Sky video on demand and/or catch up content and red button functionality in addition to the movie and sport HD channels. Did this not happen or are Sky dragging their feet? If they are, has anyone any idea when we can expect these?

The VoD stuff will probably come with the sky Basics HD channels, it is any ones guess as to why they were announced in May and still not launched. The red button is late this year or early next year.

Lets hope they don't screw themselves over But it is astonishing that a channel that they own 50% of can come to terms with sky before they do.

ha ha
Yeah, they do, but It seems more of an investment than a "controling" share of the business. The UKTV board will still act in the interests of UKTV, not Virgin Media.
I'd expect those channels sooner rather than later on VM Sky may have got a exclusive at launch deal.

Does this include Sky News Active or is the red button stuff just Sky Sports?

Depends what you mean by limited... the main thing is the programming behind the Red Button.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. III
That 'limited red button on VM' sounds like typical Sky marketing to me. In reality, it will mean we get access to sports - normally football matches but some other sports as well - that are shown via the red button on Sky Sports 1 and 2.
We won't get the other stuff on the red button which is things like access to Sky Bet or stuff like that.
I suppose we might not get the odd European match they put on Sky Sports 4 red button. But still, it's better than nowt in my view!!
