Re: Netflix/Streaming Services

Wuaki now have HBO ppv content including Game of thrones! So much for those shouting only Sky have the rights eh? Looks quite pricey though.

Try to read what people actually put , Sky have the exclusive UK subscription rights you can get HBO content by purchasing from many places like Blinkbox , Amazon Prime , itunes , Google.

Remind me where did i say it was anyone on this forum?
Anyway regardless from looking at prices Sky is the best for value for getting HBO content atm but more choice can only be a good thing in the long run.
Also only just saw in the email that you can get a chromecast for £10 when purchasing a box set.

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services

The thing about "buying" shows in this way, is it means you can't sell them on. I agree they''re a bit pricey, but no more so than a DVD box set. Except that you can offset the cost of one of those by selling it on after you've watched it.

Yes you can sell it on and nearly get your money back but we have no intention of selling our GOT sets that's for sure.

Isn't digital gaming really expensive though?

I paid £64.99 for watch dogs deluxe edition but i tend to mostly wait a bit for the sales and that can work out cheaper than retail, but if you want new games as they're released then digital is very expensive.

Thought as much you must have a hefty hard drive in your ps3 lol, Only digital game I have is pvz garden warfare for xbone got that because it was the same price at retail.

Wouldn't even consider buying box sets in that way though.

Just got Netflix on the 6 month trial, can find it on the TiVo but not on the V+ box.

Is it available on the V+?

Netflix rumored to get exclusive new Star Trek series.

More new Star Trek series would be very interesting.
