VM said there is oversubscription in my area, just not enough for them to actually care...

1) You may be able to wrangle your way out if the service is really poor
2) VM as far as I recall don't charge full price to buy out a contract, so it may be cheaper than you think
3) A lot of people I know have to services (e.g. VM + BT or two BT lines)
4) Some providers (e.g. TalkTalk) have been cold calling me offering to pay off the remaining 17 months of my BT contract to move to them. I'm sure if you dig around a bit... Where there's a will there's a way eh?

I don't think they bother until the cables actually start to melt...

Here's today's super happy fun graph. Things seem to be quite settled down after the upgrade now.

I wouldnt be paying a cent to get out of your contract Henry, your BB just isnt fit for purpose at the moment, imo that should be enough for a get out of jail free card from Vm.
How long has it been oversubbed,

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
na i wont be giving them anything to end my contract early but theres upgrade work going on i think which makes me think those up top at VM will tell me to hold out. it wasnt bad last week prior to them pushing more down channels and changing both down and up channel(s).

In that case it's worth waiting to see if things improve

I had that to on my TBM, you will probably find it increased at 2pm on Tuesday and then decreased back to normal at 4pm Wednesday.

VM XXL 100 with draytec vigor 2850n
Has slightly less ping's than the SH it self
Just set it up
Spikes are from speed tests/ping tests/dns address tests
