Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
After meeting her twice before, Osem Jnr #2 has just been out for a couple of hours with his new part time carer - a really nice young lady from Bolivia he's taken an immediate shine to. Another nationality to add to the people from Italy, France, Spain, Finland, China, Japan, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Poland who've been a part of his life to date.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I went in August, didn't like it as much as I thought. Saying that though, I think I would have enjoyed it more had the interactive stuff been open. The interactive stuff doesn't open until around 2pm. As I was on a 2pm train home, that discounted that.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
That'd be a real treat for Osem Jnr #2 - he just loves trains. The faster and noisier the better. We got to see a few working steam trains on the Isle of Wight a couple of years ago and to say he was excited is an understatement.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
York itself is a lovely place, plenty of walking required though. So if you aren't into walking or have mobility problems then York is not for you. The cruise on the river is lovely and worth the money.
