Freesat box
My Freesat Humax HDR 1100. S, 500GB Recorder has been going crazy tonight, I timed in a programme for 7 30 and one for 8 30". They never recorded, When I opened up the folders which had series in them from previous nights They had disappeared , Now there is nothing timed in, yet it still says I have used up 57% of the disk, What on earth is the matter? Is my box just passed its best. Please advise

Re: Freesat box
A factory reset can usually fix problems like this. I don't have quite the same Humax box as you, but on mine you press the button with the Freesat symbol on it (it has a pink ring around it on my remote). Then you choose settings from the menu. One of the six options below that will allow you to reset the box.

Re: Freesat box
If you havent done so already, remove the mains plug & leave it off for an hour or so, then plug back in.
I have had a similar situation with a VM V+ box, & a long reset fixed it.

Re: Freesat box
Problem seemed to be ok when I reset the box, but i think there must be spokes somewhere because sometimes at midday I find the box and TV does not connect at first go, I have to switch it off and on at the wall before the tv starts,

Re: Freesat box
Did you reset the box, or did you just switch it off for a while? If you haven't yet performed a full factory reset, now may be the time to try it.
