Cant delete a file
I have a file thats appeared in a folder on my Nas which is 0 bytes. When i attempt to delete it it says it cant delete it as the file no longer exists. I have even attempted to delete the entire folder its in and get the same problem.
I even attempted to use CMD and do it that way and wont delete, anyone have any idea how i can delete this?

Have you tried rebooting?
When i get this on Windows, i just reboot the PC and it will delete next time i try.

Yes i have tried rebooting twice, u have to reboot to use the tool Taf suggested.

its ok now ive just done it, i had to set the software taf suggested to delete the entire folder containing the file.

I have a file like that in my SYSTEM DIRECTORY.... I tried copying the system folder but some of the files DO NOT COPY OVER!! (I was gonna copy "SYSTEM" and then delete the folder and see what happens (Then rename the new folder "SYSTEM" and boot up but I cant seem to copy EVERY FILE over))
Computers uugghh....

Try running as administrator. ( Right click on application and chose "run as administrator") Even if you are logged in as the administrator sometimes you need to be like "super admin"* to actually complete an operation particularly if the files are system files.
*Cape is optional.

For PC windows use LockHunter can't be beat especially as it enables a right click menu unlock.
For NAS/Linux usage it's normally a simple case of permissions and ownership and a SSH cmd prompt

'Unlocker' is pretty good too, when you have files in use that can't be got at any other way, it'll remove on reboot, handy for nefarious thnigs that load on startup and annoy.

Thank you matey..... They only show an EXE download (Which has an installer) -- Does anyone have the straight EXE file?? (I do not like installers.... YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY MIGHT PUT IN YOUR REG,etc)

You mean the paranoid version... How can the paranoid version integrate in with the shell if it doesn't run as a service???
