Can I just confirm something DF? Those of us VIPs who have already had Tivo installed and are paying the £3 a month, will we see this automatically change on our bills going forward?

Yes a bigger discount will be applied to cover TiVo for VIP's

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Does the £149 have to be paid upfront or is it added to the bill ?

Good question.. yes upfront, but it will go on to the bill (existing customers only), so no credit card required. we will up your credit limit on your account to cover the cost and stop any billing issues.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
A much better deal @ £149 no install charges BUT and i dont mean to moan as such .... WHY didnt VM simply say this in advance in the previous email ?
It would have saved considerable whinging and moaning & irate customers on forums if they had stated all that in the emails they sent out to 'Dean' .
Personally with the current bugs and lacking features IMHO the product is still overpriced simply because things like the red button operations are missing and that means the product is unfinished and unpolished. These kinds of functions should have been working from the start or it gives the appearance of a beta product not a premium product.
Still personally edging towards not bothering until they give me the box for nowt which as a VIPer they will have to do eventually and personally all the features may sound great but they add up to zipp without the content on the network in the first place and VM have been reluctant to add new content in the last 9 months.
Hope everyone who wants gets and enjoys TiVo but still dont think its worth it for my viewing habits.

Ouch, I'd been getting pressure from the wife for another box in the kitchen - any good special offer will make it hard to resist!

Just to clarify that only VIP50 & 100 get the £3 off, and April installs are only free for existing customers

That is good news all round. I was content with paying the £3 but am now very pleased indeed that being a VIP has added extra benefit for me. Thank you VM and thanks to Digital Fanatic for passing this onto us.

I have been keeping tabs on Tivo and put my name down in Decemeber even though I will be a totally new customer - TV/Broadband/Phone.
When will I be able to order?
Thanks

Great news DF
Just a slight query what if virgin can't get all the happy pre regs booked and installed in the two weeks left in April?

You need to buy TiVo in April to get the free install, but your date for actual install could be in May.
