More Virgin Mobile price 'changes'

I've been on the Original PAYG tariff for many years and am quite happy with it for my limited usage. I just received a text from VM telling me that some price changes are going to be made to my FLEX tariff. Well I've never heard of 'FLEX' but checked the link provided:

virginmedia.com/flex

and found that these 'changes' apparently mean that my texts to other Virgin mobiles will 'change' from 3p to 10p amongst other substantial price rises. Does Virgin Mobile think using the term 'changes' when it really means 'increases' is a cool new way to impress customers? Or do they think people won't notice?

I must say I'm very confused about this, I've never heard my Original PAYG tariff referred to as FLEX and still don't know if these changes will apply to me. Can anyone shed some light please?

TVM as always.
