The software is functional, but is limited to a cut down selection of apps that are either identical to the ones on the playstore or inferior. The youtube app for instance "works", but doesn't let you shrink the video and continue searching like the normal android one.
You can pay less and get ads on the lock screen, which I don't mind but others may find annoying.
It also automatically downloads tv shows that amazon are trying to promote. I thought I turned that feature off but it still does it.
