50Mb upgrade worse than before

Hi,
Have upgraded with Virgin media to 50Mb broadband, but speedtests at various times of the day consistently report around DL 4MBps and UL about 2MBps. I was getting bettr than this before the upgrade.

My power levels are:

Downstream Channels
Lock Status Modulation Channel ID Max Raw Bit Rate Frequency Power SNR Docsis/EuroDocsis locked
Locked QAM256 91 55616000 Kbits/sec 315000000 Hz 4.7 dBmV 43.2 dB Hybrid
Locked QAM256 89 55616000 Kbits/sec 299000000 Hz 5.2 dBmV 43.8 dB Hybrid
Locked QAM256 90 55616000 Kbits/sec 307000000 Hz 5.1 dBmV 44.2 dB Hybrid
Locked QAM256 92 55616000 Kbits/sec 323000000 Hz 4.5 dBmV 43.5 dB Hybrid

Think thats what people ask for, I am going to call 150 just want to make sure I know what Im talking about.

Any help appreciated.

I have been downloading from http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com/blueyondergames/ and still only get max 300kbps. I have tried this at various times.

there is nothing wrong with those levels dude, try doing a speed test from speedtest.net on the london server and see what you get

Upstream levels? Pointless only giving half the story.

Been on the phone for about 40 mins with virgin were very helpful for a change. Wnet through wired connections got them all to 50mbps, but wireless was still a problem. Have switched off malwarebytes program and now get 30 mbps on wireless connection windows 7 laptop.

Go to the device manager and check the make of the wireless card and if it is Atheros check that it is running the latest drivers by clicking update drivers.
