That way lies no pain but a life expectancy of around three years.
It's around ten years if i have a Kidney and anyone's guess if I go the whole hog and have an SPK
Which to be honest is probably what I'll end up doing.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Well being signed off by the Dr I'm doing what I want, so on Wednesday I went to the Royal Free to see my mum.
I was in there unpacking some stuff I'd taken in for her when a nurse sticks her head in the door and said "Have you heard the good news, your moving to your local hospital today".
So I was able to travel back with her and we got to our local about 9pm
The only downside is that our local as two 1-1/2 hour sessions rather than the 6 that the RF had, but its 15/20 minutes door to bedside.

l know exactly what its like to have a choice as 15 years ago it was either live a couple of days or have a LVAD implanted so basically there was only one choice l could make and here l am still here making a fool of myself 15 years later.

Yeah, but he has a cold and cannot see her, because she's in a barrier room.

Good job you've lost so much weight already or they might have thought shaving the whole foot of was a good idea

I'm a coward, so I'd take the doing nothing option. But I know dilli is braver than me, a billion times over.

Just spent a pleasant lunchtime in the local's beer garden Though it's cool (11C) full sunshine and calm means T-shirts and shorts.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Sort of a bitter sweet post.
We buried my uncle on Thursday and Saturday watched his daugher get married.
