Re: Stopping smoking support.
Thanks.
I remember an old boss of mine, he gave up smoking many years ago and whenever he came to see when I was working, he also said his worst time was during the winter and that the craving used to come back, he could be right, it was very rare I fancied one during the warmer times.
There were reasons why I had to give up, but it was really hard to start with.

You could use the threat of Mr A being in N. Ireland to help?

I'll mention that, but the threat of me waiting at the airport to do the sniff test might be enough
Tbh, i don't think he'll find it too hard now. Most of our friends, me, his family and colleagues don't smoke anymore - smokers are becoming more anti-social and I think he feels it could make people frown on him as he works within hospitals (obviously smoking outside!). Besides, we want a fab holiday this year and I'm also making some sacrifices

Re: Stopping smoking support.
Thats some achievement Mr A - are you seeing that the tenner in your pocket tends to stay there a bit longer these days?

Re: Stopping smoking support.
I am so proud of all our quitters and I would be interested to hear how quitting has effected you guys. Are you feeling the physical benefits of not smoking and have any of you been treating yourselves to any rewards with the money you have saved?

Re: Stopping smoking support.
Right, I've had enough of reading all of this
I'm trying yet again to give up smoking (only tried 3 times last year, so I've got experience!). I've just set my quit date on the Quitnet site for tomorrow (12 noon in fact), so I'm going to be crabby as hell for the next month
