Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
Could we try to stay on the topic of areas that have been upgraded, please?

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
I've just been upgraded. My area reference is 31 if that helps. When I got home from work the website said I'd been upgraded but it's taken a while to actually happen. Suddenly lost connection did a reboot of the modem and now a speed test shows 20.30Mbps download. Excellent, and that's on an old NTL 250 modem
Fast enough for me for now and means I don't need a superhub.

My area ref is 31 too and i am in Cambridgeshire not Hertfordshire? It does say the upgrade is completed here but as of yet my speed hasn't been bumped to 60.

don't believe what VM say dude, the vmng300 can do 100mbit without breaking a sweat. You can tell if you have got a problem with the modem in that respect by looking at the config. The modem gets a configuration file telling it what speed it can do you would only be worried if you was provisioned for 100mbit and were still only pulling 50. In your case, you will still be provisioned for 50mbit. Have a look at http://192.168.100.1/CmOpConfig.asp and you'll see. For 100mbit you'll have:
Primary Downstream Service Flow
Max Traffic Rate : 110000000 bps (110mbit)
Primary Upstream Service Flow
Max Traffic Rate : 10250000 bps (just over 10mbit)
In your case atm, your downstream will be something like 55000000bps

If it says the upgrade is complete have you tried resetting the modem to see if it downloads the new config?

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
My areas download speed doubling is done but still no sign of the upload speed changing. My neighbour had his double done automatically and i got mine early by phoning, both of us still on 5mb upload instead of 10.

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
Can we keep this thread for confirmation of areas that have been updated, not a list of those that haven't yet.....

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
Several areas have had a downstream only upgrade, be good to know those who have been fully upgraded, downstream and upstream.
