A bit of help please, I bought an app but accidentaly deleted it before I synced with my pc, do I have to pay again or if I follow thw buy / password procedure, will it already see it as bought, it wasn't cheap, £7.49, not expensive either but don't want to pay again if I don't have to

re: The iPhone thread
I'm having some problems just recently with my iPhone whereby I'll make a call and when I'm ready to end it, the screen is off and I can't access it to end the call. It seems to take endless pressing of the home button or sleep button twice and it eventually comes back to life. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
I've got the latest software and I've reset it in the ways mentioned in this thread.

I sometimes experience the screen being unresponsive, I touch the 'on' button at the top of the phone quickly. This tends to restore it and also ends any calls your on.

re: The iPhone thread
I have also had the unresponsive screen, though usually happens when I want to swipe to answer a call...which is no great loss as it goes to voicemail. I usually have to do the reset key presses to get a full reboot and then all is well. I wonder whether its due to the phone not releasing memory properly as it only does it to me when ive been running games and other RAM intensive stuff.

I get that as well sometimes
I did find once that my touchscreen was unresponsive because there was sweat on it. Once I wiped it I could use it again.

re: The iPhone thread
Major iPhone exploit found - can allow hackers to take over your phone.
http://gizmodo.com/5325703/iphone-sm...to-be-hijacked
Quote:
Apparently, there's a security flaw on the iPhone that allows it to be hijacked via SMS. And when, hijacked, your phone can then hijack all other iPhones in your contacts list. I think you see where this is going.
The flaw involves invisible SMS bursts that allow hackers to gain total control over your phone. The two dudes who discovered it plan on unveiling it at the Black Hat conference on Thursday. They say they told Apple about it a month ago, but nothing's been done.
So how do you prevent your phone from being hijacked? Well, if you get a text containing only a single square character, turn your phone off. Fast.

iPhone OS updates are always the full OS image, so even though this is a minor update, it still involves downloading & installing the entire OS.
