Parting with 3 good people through choice.
Facing he third funeral in as many weeks.
I hate it when Loved Ones have to disappear.

Thank You so much for your kind thoughts and support Folks. I really appreciate them.
Last week, a wreath in the back window of the hearse spelt out her favourite saying:
Keep smiling
Carry on
Uplifting and appropriate.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 7
Well - It's only a mild moan / hate but here it is (I'm in venting mode)
The RNIB web site, I have just spent nearly an hour trying to order something, what a slow crap and one of the most poorly designed sites I have EVER had the misfortune to use..
In the end I had to delete my account and recreate it to get it all working again. When I phoned the general attitude was 'I don't know what's wrong - can't you go somewhere else to order it'.
Still I did manage in the end.
http://www.rnib.org.uk/shop/Pages/Pr...oductID=HC6001
A few people know I've ordered this and more than a few have commented that it's not the kind of thing I should be spending my 'handouts' (DLA) on...
Not that it's anything to do with them WHAT I spend it in I would have thought DLA is exactly what it's for.
Still what would I know.
And I had an arse of a day in hospital yesterday - so quite frankly bugger it all.
On the plus side I'm getting a pocket magnifier which is great as my blinkers are really bad now

Sorry to hear that dilli, customer service seems to be on the decline now. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?

Firstly the magnifier looks brill, though the 3.5 hour battery use seems a little low, but it does say you can 'quick charge' it.
Secondly, you must move in very strange circles to let people know what you are buying, and for them to actually comment on whatever you do buy also for them to know what benefits you're on all at the same time.
But if they knew all that, then surely they would know about your eyesight, therefore would be commending you on your purchase.
Still whatever, at least you know who your friends are now. Much easier to avoid all that next time.

It's only for reading stuff while I'm out (Menus / shopping) stuff like that - I have a full size CCTV machine at home.
