Considering they used to charge £10 a day, that's not bad, (but I wont be taking it up!)

On a slightly different note, I wonder what (apart from a new design and ethernet port) the new box has to offer

I think it's a rebadged ROKU2 not 100% certain though.

This site has a pic with a Sky badged box and remote and there appears to be a tag of some sort on the end of the remote that says 'Roku':

i think it's way too much but people have complained in the past that they're forced to pay for channels they don't want just to get the sports.

Sky have obviously listened and it's a good move, now if only they'd extend it to pubs and clubs where they're forced to take the whole shebang at +£700 a month.

The new box is a rebranded Roku 3.

I take it these boxes don't have access to the other Roku channels by sideloading? Or rooting even, it would make them a steal as the Roku 3 is £99.

How does that price compare with taking Sky Sports via VM? Doesn't the price for Sky sports vary depending whether you are on M, L or XL TV?

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services

It's business Den , Sky charges £25.50 for Sky Sports on the Satellite platform however you must have the Original bundle at a cost of £20 so the entry point is £45.50.

This now offers a cheaper entry point for those who just want freeview and sport , in fact even with the Entertainment pass its only £38.98.

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services

So I guess an option for sports fans who want to Cord Cut, is internet via BT, for BT sports and Now TV for Sky sports.
