Isn't it a mark of respect for a bombing yesterday or something and 9 Italian people were caught up in it. I could be wrong though

Re: Euro 2016 thread
Yeah to do with the Italians murdered in the terrorist attack.
I'm bored with the Germany Italy game, at the rate Iceland will beat both.

How many more missed penalties?

It was 7 missed penalties :O

Based on that performance Germany will NOT be in the final.
I would love to see a Wales v Iceland final

Aren't the goalkeepers meant to stay on their line until the ball is kicked?

Re: Euro 2016 thread
Collectively some of the worst penalties I've seen since...er Englands.
Did anyone notice that there where only four Premiership players on the pitch, they all took a pen and they all missed.

Rules are one thing but they seem to be constantly ignored by the goalkeepers and officials as l saw one goalie a couple of weeks ago move 3 feet off his line and yet nothing was done.

The latter represting both England and Nigeria.
Doesn't stop at Football though, I'm sure Somalia fancy one of Mo Farah's gold medals.
If Wales had failed to qualify they'd have been Welsh. Get to the semi finals and they're English. Andy Murray's British when he wins.
Should be more ashamed that overlooked English talent is doing better than the supposed elite. On paper and bar Bale I can't see a single Welsh player making the England team, on the pitch however they've all performed infinitely better than England.

Shola ameobi, the poor man's emile hesky. Ramsey would get close to the team and Williams who incidentally iirc didn't even know he was part Welsh would defiantly

You leave the Ameobi out of this. He may have been the worst striker to ever grace the league but he was ours. I never quite understood why he was so bad though. He had some pretty clinical finishing at points but no, bar u21 appearances. I don't think England had reached the low point of needing him. Just needed him to fill up the player list of non English players that have represented England at some level. Proving it really is a non issue.
I didn't take Ramsey into account, I agree but at the same time I could see bigger names getting the nod as always.
