Quick question about phone unlocking.....

Hiya, i have a KRZR phone i'm just listing on eBay now, i know for definite it is unlocked to Orange and Virgin, but i have no SIM cards to test for other networks, so if it works on virgin is it likely to be unlocked to all or are Orange and Virgin similar?? Thanks

99% it'll work with any other network if it works with both Orange and Virgin.

Ah right that's good, just cos my mother reckons that it could be only unlocked to Virgin and Orange, as in all virgin sim's work in Orange phones and vice versa..... i've listed it as unlocked then stated it's only been tested with Virgin and Orange sim cards, i hope that bit doesn't put people off though, i've braved it by putting it up for 99p no reserve and i'm hoping it's gonna go for about £100

Orange and Virgin aren't the same network, Virgin and T-Mobile are.

The phone is unlocked.

I know they're not the same network, but i remember many moons ago when BT Cellnet cards would work in a Vodaphone locked phone, so i thought it might be possible, well my mam did

Yip sure is unlocked if working on more than 1 network.
