They were posted on this forum, but I don't have them bookmarked and can't be bothered digging them up.

All seems to be OK at the moment though, but there were never any browsing issues, or otherwise.

I believe it was a known bug in the firmware, but usually cleared after a reboot, i stand to be corrected though

If you get a new bundle along with the retier then it would be a new contract

I took advantage of the early 60Mb upgrade (was on 20Mb retention), got a superhub delivered. No other changes. I've now received a new contract to sign, is this correct??

No it's not correct, people really shouldn't phone up for an early upgrade and wait it out in my opinion.
Best thing you can do is phone them up.
edit
Actually i see you said 20Mb retention so now i am not sure.

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Is it likely that we will all be increased to 8 downstream channels and 2 upstream channels when the speed uplift is completed? Because some of us are on 5 DS and other on 6-8 DS.

Update:
Engineer called, no problem this end, told me to leave it for a week and call in if the upload speed doesn't go back to normal. They are doing the double speed work at the Head-end which is where I thought the trouble would be, anyway he gave me a new Super Hub and went on his way.
I had seen comments about the SH and it's incessant blinking LED but prior to this trouble mine only gave an occasional blink so I didn't really understand what they were on about, now I have the annoying constant blinking which I was assured by the Engineer was as it should be, time to stick a bit of electrical tape over it methinks.

No I haven't, it now blinks all the time even when the computer is off.
Engineer said they all do it due to VM monitoring the modem or something, they must have a lot of spare capacity because when millions of users have the SH there is going to be one hell of a lot of bandwidth going to waste.

If they did that for every area regardless, it would be great. It would help alleviate congestion no end and be a bit of future proofing as well as they wouldnt be chasing their tails all the time. That being said, it is such a damn good idea that I know they wont do it and will only do the minimum for the speed doubling and that is it. They probably wont bother will 8 channels till they start to rollout 200mbit.

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Weird thing is though is that this 8 channel area is not and never has been congested..
