Looks more like localized noise or corruption than a routing problem.

I just switched from VM 50MB to BE Unlimited

World of difference ping/jitter wise. Gaming is soooo much more responsive and smooth too

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
I'm connected through a telephone extension socket in the living room, rather than the main socket.
I'll try that later and see if those red packets remain
On the other hand, when I ping bbc.co.uk 100 packets, none get lost so I'm not getting packet loss in real terms

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
Typical day on VM

I've just had Sky FTTC 80/20 installed (Using supplied Sky Router)

After a day I ditched the sky router and switched over to my pfSense box

I'm lucky, I'm only 120M from the cab so get the fully 80/20.

Nice. Confirmation at last the yellow "fluff" on Sky is the fault of Sky's supplied router after all.

It a linux router/firewall package you can install on a small x86 pc. I have used a Via Envy Mini-ITX board for years (Jetway J7f4).
