Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
how do you get the ping graph to work
iv ticked the box for "respond to ping on wan port" but nothing, i just get a red graph 100% packet loss
any ideas?
Iv tried adding the superhubs ip into the DMZ, it just said cannot put the ip address of this hub into dmz
?

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
You can't put the superhub's IP address in the DMZ as the router is already basically in the DMZ, if you have respond to ping, then I'm guessing your IP address may have changed since you started the graph, does it match up on thinkbroadband and in your router's external IP address?

I'd double check then that the respond to ping is still ticked, just in case for some reason it didn't save.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
it did, iv been checking it, restarting the thing. Im supposed to be getting a vmng300 some time this week, i just wanted to compare the two, but it looks like ill have to compare without the graph.
Im on the beta firmware, but i dont think that makes a difference, because I tried to set this up when it first got put in on the original firmware and it didnt like it, but i wasnt fussed, I just wanted to have a look out of curiosity, but now i want to use the tool to compare the superhub with the vmng300

i cant see ip flood being the problem either, I thought it was LAN side IP flooding?

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
The only thing I can suggest is that the think broadband ping monitor isn't pinging your external WAN IP address, are you sure you've set it up correctly?

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
I'd dream for this, lol. Apparently it's going through Yorkshire Grid for Learning using VM lines, which is interesting to say the least.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
Not really, totally different from the VM broadband network, guaranteed bandwidth not shared and all optical.
