My moan - my legs.
The hospital are telling me I've broken both my left foot. Which usually would be me in a cast again for at least eight months but I can't at the moment due to swelling as that is the leg my veins were harvested from.
And both my legs are all swollen up
It never rains and a,l that.

Dads chest has got worse this week as he has been struggling with it since the New Year and finally Mum has forced him to see the doctor as we are all getting increasingly worried about him.

Yes it certainly pours with you dilli and it seems it is a never-ending battle for you most of the time with your health.
l hope things improve for you soon dilli as you don't deserve all these health problems at all.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
@ weenie, I hope that you are able to give your Mum some comfort. Shame her GP seems to be lacking in any empathy. I realise there were possibly limited options on how to let your Mum know what needs to be done but I can't believe this was their only option. Give her an extra hug all the way from Manchester.
@ dilli, sounds as though you are still in the wars. Wish there was something I could do or say, but in the absence of a magic wand maybe a hug will suffice for the time being?

Dilli, I have no idea when your fortunes will change but I know we're all hoping they will very soon. It says a great deal about you that in spite of all the pain etc. you can be as positive as you are. You're a very special guy but I'll leave the soppy 'hugs' to Jo and offer you a great big manly

Hey!!!!!! My hugs aren't soppy, they are firm, reassuring and incredibly addictive. Or so I have been informed.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Den I hope your Dad feels better soon and the Doctor will give him something that will help your Dad.
Sorry to hear about your legs and foot dilli, like Jo I wish I could magically make all your troubles go away I wouldn't hesitate as Osem say's your a special guy hugs to you and Natalie.
Well I spent the afternoon with my Mum & Dad and explained all about the CT scan. I asked why the Doctor phoned and Dad said the Doctor thought that the hospital had been in contact with her to explain that further investigation is needed or something like that, my parents are not the best at relaying messages. In the end I think I managed to put their minds at rest by saying let's not worry till we know the result of the CT scan I think I managed that hopefully. I know my Mum seemed pleased when I said I will take her to the hospital (I think she forgets I'm no longer working) so that is one less thing for her to worry about as I'll be her transport.
Thanks everyone for your kind words.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Sounds like crossed wires really, GP assumed the hospital would have already been in touch so of course when the GP phoned your poor old mum must have been bricking it without anything from the hospital beforehand.
Hopefully all will go well.

The 'Just Eat' advert where the baby in its cot gives that bump fist thing when he sees his mum (I think it's his mum. might be his baby sitter) opening her blouse to breast feed him as she's approaching.

Why is it so difficult to get Kaiser rolls Co-op used to do them but I can't seem to find them locally.

I really really hate people who sit there reading the newspaper to themselves and then start telling you all the stories in that newspaper.
Stories I already know about. or I couldn't give 2 figs about.
but he doesn't care. he just carries on reading them all out to me followed by his comments and opinions about them all.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Need to scrape together £50 for an engineer to come out and look at central heating. Had it down on 15, but for some reason the radiators were on full blast as was the boiler. I'd had it set to being on all the time, now changed it back to the presets and hot water only. Hopefully that will fix it, otherwise I think it is time to go to my mum and ask for her to replace the boiler. It is still the original boiler and British Gas keep saying each year that it needs to be replaced. Yeah, like I have a few thousand spare to buy a new one and as for finance, forget it with my poor credit history.

if you are renting Mark should not your landlord be sorting it out for you as its his responsibility to make sure everything is working properly.
