Severance - 6/10. Enjoyable, but not as clever as it thinks.
The Break Up - 5/10. Okay, but it's one of those films which you'll forget within 24hrs.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Watched Old Boy again with some friends yesterday, Still A very good film,9 outta 10.
Transporter 2 - Id say 7/10 for no brainer action film. There are 2 bits in it tho where I think the director/producer/stunt team were on drugs. The first is where Statham drives his car from the top of one carpark to another one (separate buildings) and then theres a bit where you see him driving across the top of buildings that are separated by a narrow street. Couldnt stop laughing but the action and driving sequences apart from those 2 were great.

Happy Feet next (I have a thing about penguins!)

We went to see Happy Feet just before Christmas and thought it was great. The animation is absolutely stunning - by far the best I have ever seen. However, the plot is a little thin and it would be quite a long / slow film for small kids.
For Christmas, Mrs A bought me the DVD of March of the Penguins, which is a documentary about the real thing. I wish I'd seen them the other way round 'cos it would have made HF even more realistic for me. Many of the scenes in HF are obviously based on those in MotP. The DVD-extra about shooting MotP is also interesting.

Beerfest - 10/10
Absolutely hilarious.
If you liked SuperTroopers (and lets face it, how could you not?) you'll love this.

A Scanner Darkly - Really enjoyed it 9/10. Keanu Reeves is just a natural as a stoner and Robert Downey Jr is...really good in it...

Star Trek:First Contact last night on C4 - 7/10; nice in-jokes, and quite a bit of action.
