Big pat on the back for the young man I have seen grow from a school boy into the successful responsible and caring person of to-day. You sure have a lovely family Osem.

Cheers everyone - your kind thoughts mean a lot I can tell you.
How time has flown!! I've just been out for a beer and a bite with the lad and can't believe where all the years have gone but I always thought he'd make a fine teacher so I'm very proud of him. When I look back at some of my posts here in years past it only seems like yesterday.

It was John Torode's tour through Argentina and I'm reliably informed that armadillo tastes a bit like hob nail boot...

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
After my annoyance at having an early wake up call from a spammer (and the repeat calls for the rest of the morning) which I moaned about in the Hate thread this morning I have sorted out a Call Blocker and on phoning VM to get the required Caller Display the nice agent gave it to me for free. Not a lot of money saved but it made me happy.

I don't need caller display, I know it's the Mother-in-law somehow, different harsher tone in the ring, caller ignored

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
: @ Mr K
The other thing that will make John happy is that the Call Blocker has a Big Red Button that I intend to let him push to get rid of any nuisance callers. His swearing at the caller this morning, although it did the trick and seemed to be a great de-stressor for him, unnerved me and made me spill my mid-morning cuppa.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Well after having to use a printer at the other end of my building (last Thursday I walked about 2.5 miles between my desk and it.)
I finally today have a dedicated network printer in my office, now to print of some 2,000+ pages this week.
I'll have to go a long way to beat my last job, some 1.2 million pages. Thus killing the photocopier

You can't beat gelling a cols caller to "Go and fuff yourself" then hang up.
