Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
New laptop's arrived. (HP Probook 450 G3) Very smart. Like the metal casing on the main unit. Now I've got to set it up to my liking, get my familiar apps downloaded and turn off as much frippery as I can.
Found my WiFi and is logged into that once I gave it the password, got and installed updates.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Happy thought for everyone here, I'm signing off now because I'm being admitted at half 9 for my operation tomorrow morning. Being kept in overnight as well, so you have peace from me until Saturday sometime, maybe longer as I have a sneaking feeling they are going to keep me longer than 1 night to regulate my blood sugars before leaving hospital!
See you at the weekend or next week sometime,

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Finally got a booking for four of us to go to a restaurant in Leeds that everyone is raving about - The Man Behind the Curtain.
Because we want to go on a Friday or Saturday night, the first booking for those nights was 2nd December 2016...

Well two days to go before we travel to Gosport for my Dad's 65th birthday and then we are staying with family until after the New Year.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Osem Jnr. passed the selection process for his third year training. It's very highly regarded and since it guarantees placements in some of the borough's best schools on completion of his degree, the competition is very fierce and places limited. Couldn't ask more of him really.
Osem Jnr#2 did really well at his Christmas show and made us all very proud.

That's excellent news and you should be very proud of them.

Well done to both Junior Osems. I hope you all have something planned to celebrate the achievements of these two fine young men.
