Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Why is it that a huge company like VM seems unable to correctly send emails?

It might have something to do with their entire IT system being a good 5 years out of date.
They only switched to IE8 a few months ago (From IE6!). Everyone's still on Windows XP / Server 2003 machines.

However when telford cable posted his last night we all automatically assumed " rightly if you know who and what he is" that it was another of his photoshopped fakes. Obviously for the very first time he has posted a fact
I now need to go and have a little lie down.

They don't do 5Mb at the moment would have been a better comment.

Yes, All 20Mb customers had to do was pay £30 for the superhub/activation to get 30Mb for the same monthly cost. I have to say it has been worth it!

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Supposedly, I get the speed upgrade between April-July... bring it on! In the heck area.
I also got the e-mail saying I was on the fastest package (lolwut) and I would be upgraded to 120Mb soon. But I'm on 30Mb, so go figure.
