Hopefully before the end of the month. We don't do major updates in December as a rule

Yes, we need everyone to be on TiVo, V HD or Samsung V+HD to make the switch.

That's great news, seems like its been in the pipeline forever. Can we expect the equally elusive TiVo iOS apps to lauch at the same time?
That would be a great Christmas present from VM.

Well I can only live in hope!
Does this update enable the 2nd CPU core for a decent performance boost?

It is much faster, yes. VM haven't said officially if it's enabled the 2nd CPU core.

Thanks DF, it's great having you and other VM staff around.
On a side note, they'd be zero point putting a dual core processor in the VM TiVo if they weren't any plans to utilise it.

WHAT????? Are you insane?
Virginmedia should keep TiVo as its working for them, but as a long term Sky subscriber I could not imagine anything worse. The Sky EPG is perfect as an EPG.
Of course I know that my views are because I'm out of touch with the latest tech and TiVo is too advanced for me, But I like it like that.

Well, as MM has moved from VM to Sky, including broadband, it's maybe not an unreasonable question to ask?
Just kidding MM.
